I hope 2010 is going to be terrific for all visitors to Silole & this website & please come & visit us this year!!

The Sanctuary is wonderfully green at the moment, though there is still a grass deficit in our area & the Park owing to the large numbers of grazers –cattle & wildlife –which have been resident throughout the drought.

We have resident zebra in the Sanctuary & eland & buffalo come through at night, along with the usual impala & warthogs…

The Empakasi River, which was reduced to a stream during the drought, is now roaring down it’s valley where we are situated, which is great news for us & for you when you come to take a walk down the Empakas Gorge!

The Cottage has been let out until 20th January on a long let & the Villa was being used over Xmas & New Year, but please do get in touch if you would like to make a booking……..
